This weekend we celebrate Pentecost, traditionally considered the “birthday of the Church.” In celebrating Pentecost, we rejoice in the gift of the Holy Spirit poured out to us by our Resurrected Lord. At our 10 am service, our celebration of Pentecost will include the baptism of three children. We congratulate and offer our prayerful support to their parents and Godparents as these children begin their journey of faith as members of the Episcopal Church.
