Today we celebrate the Feast of Christ the King. This feast day brings the Church’s liturgical year to a close. In proclaiming Christ our king, we rejoice in our baptismal call to proclaim, in word and deed, His kingdom, which is the Kingdom of God.
One of the wonderful aspects of this annual feast is that it always falls on the weekend either before or after Thanksgiving.
