Off the Ave Book Group

Two summer reads! Join us to discuss Varina by Charles Frazier on Tuesday, July 24 – a historical novel of the Civil War era. And, on August 21 we will discuss: Their Eyes Were Watching God – a 1937 classic by Zora Neale Hurston. (The Hurston Library is about to release a newly found novel by Hurston and we thought we’d read the classic in preparation!)

Summer Family Fun Events

  • Marlins vs. Mets Game!
    Saturday, June 30
    Join us for a pre-game BBQ at St. Paul’s at 1:30pm and then we’ll head down to the beautiful, air-conditioned Marlins Park to watch the Marlins take on the Mets at 4pm. Sign-up sheet is in the courtyard. You will need to pre-pay your tickets.

Fr. Paul’s Blog 6.8.18

Wow, we had an incredible Vacation Bible School (VBS) week here at St. Paul’s. At our Sunday 10 am service we welcome our children, families, and many dedicated volunteers of VBS 2018. Our theme this year was “Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity.” We learned that the source of Daniel’s courage was his faith that God was always with him.

This past week, both our Day School and our Paul’s Place Afterschool program wrapped up school year 2017-18. On Friday morning, June 1, the children of our Day School enjoyed a lovely “graduation” ceremony. Our Pre-K 4 children will now venture into the joy of kindergarten and our Pre-K 3 children will prepare for another year of fun at St.
