Fr. Paul’s Blog 6.8.18

Wow, we had an incredible Vacation Bible School (VBS) week here at St. Paul’s. At our Sunday 10 am service we welcome our children, families, and many dedicated volunteers of VBS 2018. Our theme this year was “Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity.” We learned that the source of Daniel’s courage was his faith that God was always with him. Through thick and thin, in good times and in bad times, Daniel knew that he was never alone. Like Daniel, we too draw courage and strength from the blessed assurance of God’s promise that God is always with us.

Speaking of God’s presence always with us, thanks to our new live streaming of our Sunday 10 am service, Sunday worship at St. Paul’s is an internet click away! As you travel this summer, I encourage you to stay connected to your church family by joining us online.

On a bittersweet note, we will soon be bidding a fond farewell to Marie Ridolfo, our director of parish communications. Marie joined our parish staff in 2013 and has sung in our choir since 2007. Marie and her family will be moving this summer. We are grateful for Marie’s ministry among us. We wish her and her family Godspeed as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
