Fr. Paul’s Blog 6.21.18

As we settle into summer, which officially began this past Thursday, there is a lot happening at St. Paul’s. On Sunday afternoon at 5:00 pm, we will celebrate our first ever Yoga Mass in the parish hall. For several years, Christian Yoga has been a regular program offering here at St. Paul’s. I’m thrilled that Patti Daniell and Sally Grillo have helped to organize what will undoubtedly be a unique, life-giving worship experience that will include the sacred meal of Eucharist. More details about this service can be found in the Acts of St. Paul section of this bulletin.

I want to thank our Seekers (our 20 and 30 something ministry) for coordinating a neighborhood revitalization project on Saturday in Delray. The project was done in partnership with Habitat 4 Humanity. Our Seekers are now on a summer schedule that will include service projects, dinner church monthly, and several small gatherings through August. Please see the Acts of St. Paul for more information.

Last, but certainly not least, we bid a fond farewell to Marie Ridolfo and her family. Friday was Marie’s last day as a member of our parish office staff and this Sunday is her last day as a choir member. Marie and her family are moving to South Carolina. We are grateful for Marie’s ministry among us. I know that you join me in wishing her and her family Godspeed as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
