Welcome to St. Paul’s!

Where ever you are coming from, you are welcome here! St. Paul’s in the summer is a wonderful place to worship, study and serve. Our worship services are each a bit different…but the same liturgy, scripture and sermon. Have you considered trying another service time once or twice over the summer? The experience may shake up your spirituality in needed ways! The Saturday 5pm service is Illuminated – meaning that all of the words and music that you need you will find projected on the screens in the Parish Hall. A hands-free, voices-lifted service! Or, try the 8am service where they pray with no music at all, but everything else that you are accustomed to.. is included. An early, deeply prayerful service! And, the 10am service is certainly the service for music lovers – and those who prefer to sleep –in for a little while on Sunday. All of our worship includes traditions that meet today! Study opportunities continue over the summer – Consider joining the Universal Christ series on Sundays at 11:30am – based on the book by Richard Rohr. You can join in any Sunday of this 8 week spiritual journey, come for one, or for all of the remaining sessions. And, the Lectio Divina (scripture and contemplative prayer) group meets on Tuesday mornings at 9am in the office conference room… Serve! Every week, the congregation supports the work of the Interfaith Network for Social Services – with actions as simple as donating some undergarments or soap for the Shower Truck. Our Family Promise week begins on August 18th – hosting families in transition to sustainable housing. So, get ready to cook, play with the children, spend the night, set-up, take-down and otherwise support this important effort. There are more summer opportunities on the following pages…. Including a chance to Sip, Dip and Chat with others of the St. Paul’s community and discover their ways of worship, study and service!

With blessings, Rev. Kathleen
