Rev. Kathleen’s Blog – 7.21.19

Welcome to summer at St. Paul’s!

This summer at St. Paul’s we are offering a little bit of all the basics –opportunities for worship, study and service for all ages! Check out the opportunities at the back of this bulletin…

And, did you know? We have a service of Holy Eucharist on Thursdays at 12:10pm. The service always includes special prayers for healing…healing for mind, body and spirit, for ourselves and on behalf of others…every Thursday throughout the year and continuing over this summer!

And we have a wonderful invitation from our friends at St. Joseph Episcopal Church just up the road in Boynton Beach. They are offering a “Staycation Celtic Pilgrimage” every night this week from July 22 to 27. While their Rector, The Rev. Marty Zlatic is away on a tangible sabbatical we are invited to a virtual pilgrimage! This is an opportunity to engage in the Celtic spirituality of our Anglican heritage.

Artist Mary Fleeson from the Lindesfarne Scriptorium and her husband, writer Mark Fleeson as well as Andy Raine, founder of the Northumbria Community and his wife, singer/songwriter Anna Raine are featured guests and bring their considerable talent to the week.

Art, music, videos, dance and lots of prayer are part of this pilgrimage experience. Treat yourself and attend as much as you can! And we offer our thanks to St. Joseph’s for their hospitality in welcoming us and our friends.

Summer blessings,
Rev. Kathleen
