Fr. Paul’s Blog – 5.12.19

Jesus Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
Welcome! Whether you are a member, a regular attendee, or a first-time visitor, we are blessed to have you with us.
This weekend we honor two special groups of people and one special person.
As we honor mothers this weekend, we are invited to thank God for all the people in our lives who have been life-giving to us, nurturing us with unconditional love. At each service, we will ask God’s blessing on mothers everywhere. After our 5:00 pm Illuminated worship, we will enjoy a special Mother’s Day reception in the courtyard. After our Sunday morning services, we will be treated to a delicious breakfast, prepared with love by our Brotherhood of St. Andrew, in the parish hall.
We also honor our graduates this weekend. At our 10 am service, we will ask God’s blessing on the members of the Class of 2019, giving thanks for their accomplishments and wishing them much success in the next chapter of their lives. To all members of the Class of 2019, your family says, “congratulations!”
Finally, we bid a seasonal farewell to Fr. David, as he heads up north for the summer. We are so blessed by his ministry and his pastoral presence among us. We ask God to wrap the divine arms of love around him until he returns to us in the fall. On behalf of a very grateful parish family, thank you Fr. David!

In Christ, our risen Lord,
Fr. Paul+
