Dr. Paul Cienniwa 9/9

Welcome!

This weekend, we welcome back The Rev. Tom Graf, our Honorary Assisting Priest, who will be serving as principal celebrant at the 8 and 10 am services.

Music has a special place in the life of the St. Paul’s family. Our Chorister Program alone—Cherub Choir, Jubilate Youth Choir, and Chancel Choir (formerly known as our “Adult Choir”)—engages nearly 50 singers on a weekly basis. Add that to the Day School, Paul’s Place, and our just-forming instrumen-tal ensemble for Saturday’s Illuminated Worship, and our music program en-gages over 100 singers and instrumentalists each week. Those numbers don’t include the singing congregation or the Music at St. Paul’s audience.

This week during the 10am service, we commission the Chancel Choir. Comprised of volunteers and a professional Schola Cantorum, the ensemble sings every Sunday, plus Lessons & Carols, Evensong, and Holy Week services. We are blessed to have their dedication, their voices, and their love for St. Paul’s.
