Fr. Paul’s Blog 8.12.18

May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you now and forever. Whether you are a member, a regular attendee, or a first-time visitor, we are blessed to have you with us. Believe it or not, the new school year begins on Monday! The start of a new school year brings a lot of joy and a whirlwind of activity to our parish family. I encourage you to read about all of the back to school activities planned for our Children, Youth, and Family Ministry in the Acts of St. Paul’s section of this bulletin. This weekend, at our 10 am service, we will bless backpacks and the students who carry them! At all services this weekend, we will bless teachers and mentors. Our prayer is that school year 2018-19 will be filled with the joy of learning and the wonder of new discoveries. Speaking of joy, it is with great joy that we welcome Ellie Holdridge as a new leader for our Stephen Ministry. Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry that provides high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. I’m thrilled that we are renewing this important ministry of care here at St. Paul’s. You can read more about Ellie in the Acts of St. Paul’s section of this bulletin. In Christ, In Christ,
