Fr. Paul’s Blog – 6.2.19

Jesus Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
Welcome! Whether you are a member, a regular attendee, or a first-time visitor, we are blessed to have you with us.
As I write this letter, I have just returned from our Day School graduation, definitely one of my favorite events of the year! Our children and their families celebrated a special milestone this morning. Our Day School, founded in 1963, is a place where children are nurtured in the Godly virtues of kindness, compassion, and generosity. On behalf of our Day School families, our Day School Board, and our parish family of St. Paul’s, I want to thank Liz Ryan, our Day School director, and our incredible teachers for a job well done!
Later today, our Paul’s Place children, staff and volunteers will celebrate the end of the school year with a special party. It has been a wonderful year for our Paul’s Place children, one filled with friendship, fun, and great achievements. I want to thank Kathy Fazio, executive director of Paul’s Place, Taylor Kilpatrick, director, our wonderful staff members, and volunteers for their great work with our children and their families.
Finally, as you probably noticed walking into church, we begin Vacation Bible School (VBS) on Monday! This special week of faith-filled fun and adventure is always such a joyful way to start summer vacation. We ask God’s blessing on our VBS children and families, and on Rev. Kathleen, Liz Ryan, Paul Cienniwa, and all of our VBS volunteers for a wonderful week!

In Christ, our risen Lord,
Fr. Paul+
