Fr. Paul’s Blog 3.31.19

Welcome!

May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you now and forever. Whether you are a member, a regular attendee, or a first-time visitor, we are blessed to have you with us.
This Sunday we welcome The Rt. Rev. Peter Eaton, our Bishop Diocesan. Bishop Eaton will be the principal celebrant of our 10 am service at which nine of our high school children and one adult will be confirmed, three people will be received into the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement, and one person will reaffirm his baptismal vows.
Please pray for Caroline Applewhite, Christopher Breakwell, Christine Davis, Rebecca Davis, Jack Grubman, Conner Hindsley, Ryan Kilpatrick, Jameson Roche, Stephen Warden, and Philip Wotton as they are confirmed, and for Christian James Bunker, Gladys Bunker, and Vincenzo Francese, as they are received into our Episcopal communion, and for George ìRobbieî Smith who will reaffirm his baptismal vows.
We hope to see you on Friday evening at the Closing Reception of our Icons in Transformation exhibit. Ludmilla Pawlowska, the artist, will be present to lead tours of the exhibit. There will be great food and beverages, and of course terrific fellowship! The exhibit has not only been a source of beauty and inspiration, attracting hundreds of visitors to our church, but it has also helped us to raise over $20,000 for our many outreach ministries! I encourage you to join us on Friday evening and bring your family, friends, and neighbors so that we can continue to raise funds to help the poor in our community.

In Christ,  Fr. Paul+
