Fr. Paul’s Blog 2.10.19

Welcome!
May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship
of the Holy Spirit be with you now and forever. Whether you are a member, a regular
attendee, or a first-time visitor, we are blessed to have you with us.
This Sunday’s gospel reminds us that, through our baptism, we share a call to be
“fishers of people.” The nets that we cast are knit with faith, hope, and love. Like Jesus
did to St. Peter, he invites us to “put out into the deep” and cast our nets wide. Through
the life of our parish family, God continues to draw people to the joy of living the gospel.
This Sunday evening we will gather at the Delray Beach Golf Club to celebrate our
annual Festive Pot-Luck Meal. This time of food, fun, and fellowship gives us a
wonderful opportunity to celebrate the year gone by and look ahead to the blessings
that will be a part of 2019.
Someone who will not be able to join us Sunday evening is Fr. Angelica. This past
Wednesday, he had successful surgery to remove his gall bladder. He is at home
resting and in good spirits. He asked me to thank everyone for their prayers and well
wishes, and he looks forward to being back on his feet real soon.
In Christ,
Fr. Paul+
