Fr. Paul’s Blog 3.1.18

The observance of a holy Lent includes a commitment to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.  As we gather in prayer this weekend, we have a wonderful opportunity to give alms through our support of Episcopal Charities of Southeast Florida. You may make a donation online here.  I encourage you to be as generous as possible.

Our Paul’s Place afterschool program is a ministry that receives support through an Episcopal Charities grant.  After our 8 and 10 am services, coffee hour will be hosted in the Children’s Cottage, home to Paul’s Place.  The Children’s Cottage is located at the southwest corner of our main campus, just south of the Day School playground.  I encourage you to join us for coffee hour and learn more about the incredible things being done with the children and families of Paul’s Place.

At our 10 am service we will enjoy the debut of the “Paul’s Place Ringers,” a newly formed hand bell choir made up of the children of Paul’s Place!  This is one of many initiatives undertaken by Dr. Paul, our Director of Music Ministries.  I’m so grateful for his ministry with our children and families.
