The Rev. Dr. Kevin Goodrich, O.P., a traveling teacher on spirituality, ministry and living will be teaching a seminar at St. Paul’s entitled: Walter Hilton and Christian Mysticism Today on Wednesday, September 28, at 7pm. The session will begin with Evening Prayer at 7pm (Fr. Goodrich preaching) and the seminar at 7:15ish. Hilton was a medieval “best seller” on the spiritual life read by lay persons, monastics, and clergy alike. Learn about Hilton, contemporary mysticism, and the spiritual life today. Father Goodrich is the author of the books Cell Phone Spirituality: What your Cell Phone Can Teach you About Life and God and Plugging into God’s Story: A Practical Introduction to Reading and Understanding the Bible. He’s known for his sense of humor, engaging preaching style and ability to communicate complex spiritual concepts in simple terms. Fr. Goodrich is a life professed member of the Anglican Order of Preachers (Dominicans).
