South Florida Haiti Project
The South Florida Haiti Project was officially founded in 2009 as a coalition of Episcopal Churches, organizations and individuals committed to serving the people of Bondeau with education, clean water, food, and healthcare. Over time, we have transitioned from just providing direct service for the community to engaging in and celebrating a full partnership with the people of Bondeau. Much has been accomplished and much is still waiting to be done together!
St. Paul’s has been actively involved in the South Florida Haiti Project (SFLHP) since its inception. We have participated in mission trips, food packing parties, and fundraisers. You have an opportunity to support the people of Bondeau through this fundraiser, “Journey to Bondeau” on Saturday, September 28, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Boca Raton. There will be a gathering time of appetizers, a silent and online auction, live music, a delicious catered dinner, a new video about the progress made in Bondeau, and a live auction. Tickets are $75 per person, and we hope you will attend! To purchase tickets, please call or text (561)271-2645 as soon as possible. And please enjoy the amusing photos of St. Paul’s parishioners, taken last spring, at the food packing party at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
