The Family Prayers & Praise Service meets (September through May) at ten o’clock on Sunday mornings in the Parish Hall. It is an engaging, interactive and informal worship service for children and their families. Children are encouraged to participate by acting out Bible stories through skits; writing their prayers on links for a prayer chain and on the prayer board; singing contemporary hymns; and engaging fully in Holy Communion. A favorite part of the service is when the children gather around the simple altar and assist the priest with blessing the bread and wine (grape juice). Services conclude with a craft pertaining to the day’s lesson and delicious snacks.
