Contemplating Advent with our Holy Mother, Mary: An ICON Workshop

Continuing with our Vision 20/20 Goal of Spiritual Vitality within our Parish, there will be an ICON Workshop, Saturday, December 2nd, from 9 a.m. until Noon, in the Parish Hall. Our Workshop leader will be Brooks Saunders Wilson, an ICON leader from Prosopon School of Iconology, in Endicott, New York, where she studied iconography for 15 years. This workshop will consist of three parts – The Writing of an Icon; Sharing Mary Icons; and Contemplation and Meditation. What a great time to pause from the expected, harried, schedule of pre-Christmas tasks and join us for this reflective and meditative opportunity, as well as having the experience to learn about Icons and the Presence of Christ and His Saints embodied within these Sacred Images.
