Fr. Paul’s Blog 2.23.18

This Sunday we will commission our 2018 Vestry members.  As we live into our Vision 2020 Parish Strategic Plan, our Vestry members are key servant-leaders who will help to lead us into becoming the parish family God is calling us to be.  Each Vestry member is a part of one or more goal committees serving our common life.  Also, each Vestry member serves as a liaison for a particular group of active ministries in our parish, making sure that these ministries have the resources needed to thrive.

I’m happy to share that Lorraine Sciara-Kelley will continue to serve as our Senior Warden and that George Daniell will continue to serve as our Junior Warden.  Joining Lorraine and George are Dan Murtaugh, Sandy Norman, Ron Backer, Craig Dickmann, John Putnam, Phil Wotton, and our four newest members: Jim Garner, Beth George, Bob Helander, and Jane van Gigch.  We are blessed with these twelve servant-leaders and we’re grateful for their dedication to the mission and vision of St. Paul’s.

Speaking of gratitude, on behalf of our entire parish family, I want to thank Kathleen Megan and Judy Fenney, our Jumble Sale co-chairs, and the amazing team of volunteers they led.  Kathleen, Judy, and all of our Jumble Sale volunteers have made this event not only a tremendous fundraiser that helps to provide resources to support our many ministries, but they have also made it a “fun”-raiser that helps to build bonds of friendship among us.
