LECTIO DIVINA – Tuesday mornings 9-10 am
Lectio Divina or Divine Prayer is a traditional Benedictine practice of scriptural reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God’s Word. It does not treat Scripture as texts to be studied, but as the Living Word to be meditated and reflected upon as food for daily living as disciples of Christ. Typically meets in the Parish Hall.
BIBLE STUDY AT PANERA – Wednesday mornings, 8-9 am
Join us each week as we read and discuss the upcoming Lesson and Gospel readings. A time for coffee, companionship and spiritual growth. All are welcome, just show up. Panera is located at Linton and Federal (map)
CHURCH SCHOOL
Godly Play meets in the Children’s Cottage at 10:00am on Sunday mornings. This class is for 3 year olds to 2nd grade. Older children meet in the Parish Hall for Children’s Chapel and formation, after processing in to church with the opening procession. All children return to the church at the exchange of the Peace to be with their parents for Eucharist.
YOUTH GROUP – Youth group church school is at 9am on Sunday mornings. Youth group meets Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.
SEEK{ERS} SANCTUARY – SUNDAYS AT 5:30 PM IN THE PARISH HALL. This service is for people in the 20s to 30s. We offer a sacred place at St Paul’s to gather for worship, food and discussion on Sunday evenings. Please invite a friend, colleague, neighbor, son, daughter or those looking for a spiritual home. SENIOR SEARCHERS: MONDAYS AT 10:00 AM IN BUSH HALL. This book study group meets on Monday mornings with Patsy Westall as the group facilitator. New folks are always welcome.
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY meets every Tuesday at 9:30 am to knit or crochet prayer shawls in Bush Hall. These lovely shawls are made by hand, with prayer and given to those in need of comfort. Prayerful knitting is a ministry that can be done from home or anywhere.
